Residency Festival Presents: Candice D'Meza


As part of the 2018 Residency Festival, Rec Room Arts Presents Candice D'Meza.

BLESSED THIEVES


Friday & Saturday, March 23 & 24  

BLESSED THIEVES is an interactive installation that invites participants to actively explore the ways a public persona is crafted, the ways we handle shame and vulnerability, and how society supports or discourages authentic self-expression, whether in the public sphere or on social media.

This interactive installation is open Friday and Saturday night from 8 - 10 pm. You can drop in/come and go as you please. But the bar opens at 6, so come early to ensure maximum enjoyment.

General admission: $15
Student admission (with valid ID): $10

Who is Candice D'Meza?

Candice D’Meza, founder of Candice Laine Productions, is an actor, author, speaker, host, and workshop creator based in Houston, TX and Los Angeles, CA. In 2017, she was highlighted as one of “The Best Houston Theater Actors of 2017” in the Houston Chronicle and “Seven Talented Young Houston Actors To Watch” by the Houston Press.  She has a B.A. and MPA from California State University, Long Beach. As a speaker, her topics include The Magic of Alchemy (Turning pain into peace) and The Power of Radical Self-Definition.
